Governor exhorts Probationers to work with fairly equable temperament
Shimla. A batch of 13 Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HAS) and Allied Services probationer officers undergoing Foundation Training programme at HP Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Fairlawn, called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan today.
Congratulating the trainee officers, the Governor said that they were lucky to have an opportunity to work in ‘Dev Bhoomi’, Himachal, and should give their best, in the service of the people. They need to work as guides, associates and friends of the common people and for this it is very important for them to have commitment towards their work and a fairly equable temperament”, said Sh. Shukla.
Exhorting the probationers, the Governor said that it was important for them to understand the genuine problems of the people and the knowledge of the law of the land. He said that any officer becomes popular by his work, adding since you all are young; it is expected of you to work in the better interest of the State and take Himachal to new heights of development.
Wishing them success in their future endeavours, the Governor said that right attitude and positive approach towards their job was important to shape their careers and also the future of the Nation.
Secretary to Governor, Rajesh Sharma and Additional Director, HIPA, Prashant Sirkek were also present on the occasion.
